About Arshia
Arshia, the driving force behind Waste2Worth, has always been dedicated to making a positive impact in her community. Her journey of giving began with her talent for painting, raising ₹50,000 through the sale of her artworks. This amount was donated to the Dr. OP Bhalla Foundation to support the EK MUTHI DAAN initiative, which provides food grains to underprivileged families.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Arshia stepped up to provide essential medicines for those in need, ensuring that vulnerable populations received necessary healthcare. She also played a pivotal role in distributing sanitary napkins and warm clothing to the underprivileged, in collaboration with the NGO People for Action.
Arshia’s commitment to social causes and her passion for helping others continue to drive her efforts at Waste2Worth, where she empowers marginalized women and promotes environmental sustainability. Her leadership and compassion inspire us all to strive for a better, more equitable world.

2019
- Secured First Position in Save the Tiger, an online art competition.
- Secured fourth rank in best out of waste in the waste free Gurugram movement to celebrate World Environment day. It was initiated by Alag Karo.
- Secured Second position in school on national science Olympiad
- Secured 96% in French concours romain Rolland
- Secured 80% in French quiz: virtual tour paris
- Secured 92% in French Word Power
- Participated in PPT making competition organized by the Energy and Resource Institute (TERI)
- Secured first position in poster making competition
2020
- Participated in kalam labs virtual space tour
- Completed internship of RUSH 2.0- The right approach to understanding student higher education under the aegis MREI
- Participated in Inter School INTACH quiz competition
- Participated in round square conference
- Environment representative in the student council. Organized many workshops and campaigns
- Secured Third position in zero waste republic day. It had a huge media coverage.
- Winner at Anveshan wall art, an all India Competition
2021
- Awarded the Pragati Award for progress.
- Awarded fir scoring 90% above in art applications
- Awarded certificate for completion for successfully completing the MUN training conference.
- Awarded the Best Entry at Young Intach’s Save the Tiger challenge.
- Participated in Aravali Model United Nation
2022
- Participated in Governance, public policy and leadership in summer fellowship program organized by UN Global Compact
- Part of social initiatives, made mats out of used polythene bags and distributed it to the underprivileged ones.
- Guest speaker in the environment podcast. Environment related initiatives were uploaded on youtube by the school
- Certificate of excellence in participating in the KCL schools organized by KCL Debating Society.
2023
- Secured second position in film making competition event related to environment work
- Attended summer school at oxford united kingdom
- Participated in technology integrated course (CALLIDO) for college readiness skills.
2024
- Participated in Manav rachna United nations
- Participated in CANsupport walk for life-stride against Cancer
- Secured second position in a remarkable project called Green brigade and sustainable future under the SDG-13
